Life is sweet when you pay attention
Image by American solicitor/photographer Gil Garcetti.
We are currently sipping golden wine with the book "Dance in Cuba" by Garcetti as company. Yes, we are learning to make the moment important through movement and dance.
Ah, if only we could be in Cuba now. What joy it would be to dance and gyrate in the narrow streets of Havana Vieja to the beat of drums and Afro-Cuban rhythm.
We leave you with the following quote by Louis Horst: Dance for yourself. If someone understands, good. If not, no matter. Go right on doing what interests you, and do it until it stops interesting you.

ReplyDeleteWonderful shot!
ReplyDeleteDancing is an expression of pure joy. To me it defies words. Feeling that rhythm, moving the hips, loosing yourself to a beat. It's deep joy.
