Barbara Matthews von Enger studied painting, drawing, scupture making and modern languages. Upon graduation Barbara von Enger worked at the Guggenheim Berlin and several other art institutions. Miss Von Enger has a fondness for the creative side of fashion. This has led to collaboration with three of the world's most distinguished fashion houses. Barbara von Enger is heavily photographed at fashion shows in Paris and Milan and Berlin making her the most photographed Jamaican female painter of the 21st century. In 2010 Barbara von Enger began using her personal Haute Couture Invitation Cards as a form of canvas for her art making her the first painter to use this medium in the history of art and painting.
